Richard gained his initial qualification in Pathology, and after spending 14 years in this area he obtained a Bachelor of Medical Science and a Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound (DMU- Vascular). He started vascular ultrasound in 2010, in 2014 was promoted to Chief Sonographer and in 2021 became General Manager.
Richard works hard to ensure that patients and doctors are provided with accurate and timely clinical information to ensure best practice and treatment across all fields of Vascular ultrasound. Richard is a member of the Australasian Sonographers Association (ASA) and works closely with the team of Vascular One sonographers and surgeons in a collaborative environment encompassing ongoing case reviews and continuing education.
